In 2018, I was lead instructional designer developing an online health literacy curriculum aimed at empowering students with skills to manage their healthcare independently. As both the ID and tehcnical architect, we utilized Captivate for content development, XAPI for detailed tracking, and Vyond for creating animated educational content.
This curriculum was crafted to improve students’ health literacy, equipping them to access, understand, and navigate their personal healthcare needs. Built with accessibility and engagement in mind, the course integrates animated videos and interactive activities, making the material both informative and approachable.
The project included several core modules, each with original animations and diverse interactive activities. Designed to ensure universal accessibility, the curriculum reached a wide range of learners. User feedback played a central role, guiding refinements to better meet the varied needs of the students.
